January and February

So our lives haven't been too eventful since Christmas. I did forget to post pictures of Kipp blessing Beck, so he is officially recognized by the church.

Beck has just been growing, and with the weather so nice here in Henderson we are starting to spend  time in our yard before it gets too warm.

Kipp is part of our lives every now and then when he has a break from studying so I thought I would post a picture of him. A little daddy/son T.V. time is so precious. Our little guy is notorious for lounging and falling asleep in this position. Im thinking he will never have a problem kicking back and relaxing.

Along with him getting older he is getting stronger, He can sit by himself for a few seconds unaided, but this gumbo chair allows me to have a break.

I just loved this pictures! Yes, those are raccoons on his little dress shirt. Super cute.

We went to Walmart to see what fun we could find, and this little jumper followed us home. He can jump once, but mainly pivots on a foot and spins. Who could resist those rolls? I sure cannot.

We are trying to develop a love for reading and while waiting to Skype with Grandma Jo, Beck fell asleep. Grandma Jo decided to add to this love of reading and sent a new book for Valentines day. He really is diving in, mouth first!

Sunny days equal fun outdoor days.

Beck is getting so big he now holds his bottle all by himself.

February 1st Beck had his 4 month appointment where he was found to be 17lbs 7 oz. A super big boy! I finally have are muscles from holding him all day.

Beck and I did get a chance in February to fly to Reno to attend Alex's bridal shower. It was just exhausting for Beck to enjoy so much time with Grandpa Rod. Once again the lounging position.

All around we have a very happy baby, who is really mellow. We got very lucky. The hardest thing about him, is trying to decided who he looks like. All grandparents claim he isn't part of that family and must take after the other parent. So only time will tell, or the loss of a few rolls.
He is starting to attempt to roll over, and can either do the lower half or the upper, but never together.

The most exciting thing happened while we were in Reno for Kipps break in-between terms. Beck had his first ride in a shopping cart sitting up. He is growing too fast! He loves gaining the independence.
